Mia, a young woman, leaves her hometown to pursue a modeling career in the big city. She meets a photographer who works for her. However, the harsh realities of city life present many challenges. Her boyfriend sees her only as a tool for his own personal gain and doesn’t truly love her. Saddened and desperate, Mia decides to return home, where her two close friends, Hajime and Mamiko, warmly welcome her. Hajime and Mamiko become a happy couple. Mia realizes that if she hadn’t left, she and Hajime might have been in a different relationship. Unwilling to cause her friends pain, Mia decides to return to the city and face the hardships of life again, to erase her past and find her own happiness.
